Is TLC only for pregnancy and birth?

No. We care for women from the teen years through postmenopause, including prenatal, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding, gynecologic and wellness care. Whatever your concern, you're welcome here.

Do you offer home births?

Yes. TLC is a full-scope concierge midwifery practice, and we believe birth is a journey, not a medical event to manage.

How do prenatal visits work?

Most clients follow our hybrid prenatal program. You'll see us in the office on Fridays or Sundays, by appointment only, until 37 weeks. From 37 weeks on, your visits move to your home. If you'd like home visits for your whole pregnancy, that's available for an additional fee. Just let our team know which option you prefer, and we'll go over all the details with you before you sign on.

I'm planning a hospital birth. Can you still help?

Yes, through our TLC Hospital Birth Bridge Program. We assess you and your baby at home during early labor and coordinate with your OB and labor and delivery team so you arrive at the right time. This program is midwifery care, not doula support.

What areas do you serve?

We serve all five NYC boroughs with home visits, concierge care, and in-office appointments in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

Do you take insurance?

Our homebirth package includes a signing fee at sign-on, and we bill the remaining balance to your insurance. Contact us for details about your plan.

My baby is breech. What are my options?

We offer in-office ECV (external cephalic version) and a prep guide to help you get ready.

Do you offer classes?

Yes:

• Childbirth class: $396 per couple. In person on Fridays or Sundays, 3–6 pm, limited to 3 couples. A Zoom option runs Wednesdays or Thursdays, 3–6 pm.

• Mini Breastfeeding Class: first Tuesday of each month.

• Baby Basics newborn care class: in person or virtual.

Do you offer IV therapy?

Yes, in-house IV therapy focused on prenatal, postpartum, and breastfeeding depletion.

What languages do you speak?

English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, plus some Spanish.
