The services can range from family planning consultation about natural ovulation cycle counts to assist fertility.

Fertility Consultations

We also provide pre-conception consultation visits to individuals and couples who are interested in conceiving with their own fresh sperm! A consultation can include: creating a plan for preparing your body to become pregnant; nutrition and supplement advice; helping you understand how your cycle works and how to track your fertility signs; timing advice; review of your medical history and risk factors, and a full gyn exam, if you need one.

Home Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and fertility services

We offer at-home intrauterine insemination (IUI) services in the comfort and privacy of your home.  Inseminating at home is a great option for those who wish to conceive using donor sperm but who prefer a less medicalized experience. At-home intrauterine insemination with a natural cycle is appropriate as long as you're healthy and do not have any known fertility problems.  Being at home for your insemination can greatly reduce stress surrounding the process; if you are relaxed, you are more likely to get pregnant.

 

How does it work?

We meet for an initial pre-conception visit and fertility consultation, which includes a complete health history, gyn exam, and tests and bloodwork if necessary. We'll show you how to monitor your body's fertility signs so that we can optimally time your insemination.  Together, we'll create an individualized plan for getting you pregnant.  

We'll communicate via phone and email to review your fertility charts.  When you are nearing your ovulation window, and the timing is right, we come to your home to perform the insemination.  You and/or your partner can be as involved in the process as you want to be.

For IUI, you will arrange for your frozen, washed sperm sample to be there at the same time.  We can also perform intracervical (ICI) or intravaginal (IVI) inseminations using fresh known donor sperm.

Rates of pregnancy with IUI are similar to, or slightly lower than, rates of pregnancy in heterosexual couples who are trying to conceive through intercourse. A well-timed IUI with frozen sperm gives you an approximate 8-15% chance of becoming pregnant each cycle.  If two inseminations are done per cycle, the chances increase.   Over time, there is approximately an 80% chance of success after 3 to 6 IUI cycles.

Costs

$300  initial fertility consult or gyn visit
$200   subsequent visits for established clients

$250   each insemination
$35     additional charge is added for inseminations between 8pm and 8am.

We are not in network with any insurance companies but we can give you claim forms to submit for reimbursement.  Payment is due on the day of service; we can accept checks, cash, credit cards, and Paypal.​

​

 All types of family configuration are welcome.
